Roy Mussaffi
Chief Executive Officer
Roy Mussaffi began his career in the consumer electronics industry in 1980 as a stock
boy in New York City. The next year, he opened the first store in what was to become one of the most successful independent chains of electronics stores in the New York metropolitan area, Hi Fi Electronics. In 1993, Mr. Mussaffi sold his stores and partnered
with Mr. Smith to found and incorporate Intech.
Eric M. Smith
President
Eric Smith has been involved in the consumer electronics business since 1985 when he
went to work as a salesperson for Sanyo Electronics in New York City. He left in 1987
for a position as an Executive Salesman for the firm representing Sanyo/Fisher
Electronics, handling such key accounts as Gimbel's, Macy's and J&R Music World.
Ever on the move, Mr. Smith was hired just two years later as the Executive Vice
President for Zemex Electronics, an international consumer electronics firm. In 1993, Mr.
Smith left Zemex Electronics to found and incorporate Intech with Roy Mussaffi.
Ken Yokel
Executive Vice President
Ken Yokel was already one of the top producing sales professionals at Zemex electronics
when he was hired by Intech as a Sales Manager in 1994. The next year, Mr. Yokel was promoted to Executive Vice President and became a minority partner in the firm.
Bryan Glass
Design Engineer
Bryan Glass' home theater experience began at the age of 15 when he built a surround
sound system with money saved from his allowance. His professional story begins
in 1990 selling laser discs and home theater systems as a salesperson for Laserland. He
then went to work for The Wiz and next to Harvey Electronics as a Home Theater
Specialist. Mr. Glass was hired by Intech in 2002 to run the Home Theater Division and
was quickly promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing.
Joe Paciullo
Account Executive
Joe joins Intech as a Home Theater Account Executive for the Home Theater Division and is a thirty + year Industry veteran. Most recently an Outside Custom Installation Sales Designer with Harvey Home Entertainment, Joe specializes in Home Theater Design. Previous experience includes management positions with Bang & Olufsen, Harmony House, Grand Central Radio, Sound Effects and Audio Exchange.
Albert Santangelo
Project Management
Albert Santangelo’s experience started in the commercial contracting business. His company, Northeast Marble and Tile, handled prestigious projects such as the Grand Central Terminal Restoration, Madison Square Garden Renovation, The St. Regis Hotel Restoration , Carnegie Hall Towers and The Rhiga Royal Hotel to name a few.
His extensive knowledge of construction, building, estimating and team management plays a large role in his day to day responsibilities.
After selling his company in 2000 he took a position at Harvey electronics in NYC to pursue a career mixing business with one of his greatest hobbies, consumer electronics.
In 2005 Albert joined the Intech team, again to pursue a career mixing his extensive contracting knowledge with his understanding of consumer electronics. As Project Manager, Albert oversees all phases of each project, including planning, designing and scheduling.
Tim Connelly
Field and Service Manager
Tim always had an interest in electronics and started out in the Car Audio industry at the age of 15, when he actually purchased his first automobile.
In no time, Tim was designing and building competition level car audio systems, many of which were used in IASCA (International Auto Sound Challenge Association) sanctioned events across the country.
Tim moved from Car Audio to Home Theater Audio/Video and was the Lead Install Technician at
Bri-Tech Inc., where he eventually went on to become Service Manager. As Service Manager, Tim handled all client service issues and was responsible for the completion of larger projects (2000-2005).
Tim maintains Cedia, Crestron, Panasonic Hybrid Phone System and RTI certifications. Tim also has a degree in AutoCad Drafting.
