| Working Around a Stone Wall In most dedicated home theater rooms, the wall coverings used to create proper acoustic conditions replace the existing décor. For a room with stone walls in a house designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, that wasn’t an option. Working with Acoustic Smart, we created the optimal aural environment and retained the room’s character by covering the paneling with transparent acoustic fabric that matched the stone walls and adding a fiber optic ceiling designed to resemble a nighttime sky. You’ll also notice reclining leather chairs, Oscar-shaped lighting sconces (both from Acoustic Smart), and the waiter statue at the front of the room. The statue, part of the client’s collection, maintains a thematic connection between the theater and the rest of the house |
