Superior Audio/Video Equipment
This fully automated theater is controlled using a wireless Crestron ST1700C touch panel. When the client presses "DVD" on the touch panel, the motorized Lutron blackout window shades descend, the Lutron Graphic Eye controlled lights dim to a preprogrammed lighting "scene," the curtain opens to reveal the movie screen and the movie begins to play through the Seleco HT300+, an excellent one-chip digital light processing (DLP) projector.
The movie's audio plays through PMC monitors built into the walls and an REL subwoofer, both chosen for their accurate sound reproduction and extended dynamic range. A Crestron surround-sound processor and amplifiers were selected for their ability to optimize sound quality and for ease of automation. They allowed us to create a customized equalization profile tailored to this system in this room.
